Compliance and Permissible Use
Responsible Investigation Starts With a Permissible Purpose
We do not accept anonymous 'find anyone' requests. Every inquiry is evaluated based on the requester, the relationship to the matter, the intended use of the information, and applicable legal and ethical requirements.
All case requests are reviewed for a lawful and authorized purpose. TracePoint Forensics reserves the right to decline any request that does not meet its compliance and ethical standards.

How the purpose review works
Before any research begins, we evaluate four things: who is making the request, what their relationship to the matter is, what the information will be used for, and whether the jurisdiction and record environment permit the work. Requests that cannot satisfy all four are declined, and requests that raise questions are held for clarification rather than started.
What we never do
We do not hack or access accounts, track phones or devices, intercept communications, use pretexting or misrepresentation to obtain information, purchase data from illegitimate sources, or obtain protected records without proper authorization. We do not research individuals protected by a court order or an address-confidentiality program.
Consumer reporting boundary
Our reports are not consumer reports. They may not be used to make decisions about employment, housing or tenancy, credit, insurance, or any other consumer eligibility. Clients agree to this restriction as a condition of engagement.
Data handling
We collect only what a matter requires, transmit case material through agreed secure methods, restrict internal access, and retain records according to a defined schedule. We do not sell client or subject information, and we do not send case content to advertising platforms or analytics tools.
Reporting a concern
If you believe our services have been misused, contact us at cases@tracepoint.pro. Concerns are reviewed and may result in termination of an engagement.
